Michael W. Roppolo, M.D. Dr. Roppolo is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana where he earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine  and fellowship in nephrology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dr. Roppolo is board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology. In addition to practicing nephrology, Dr. Roppolo teaches at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. He is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
